Returns & Refund Policy

Fresh Produce & Perishables

FRESH FOOD items cannot be returned once they have left our possession due food safety requirements.

However, if you have received an item that is not to your complete satisfaction, please contact us at [email protected] WITHIN 24 hours, so we can make it right by providing a discount, replacement or a refund.

With fresh food items, replacement may not always be available/possible.

Notifications after 24 hours (food) and 3 days (non-food) will be handled on an individual basis at the sole discretion of the management.

Non-Perishable Food Items

For NON-PERISHABLE FOOD items (not included below), cannot be returned once they have been opened due food safety requirements.

However, if you have received an item that is not to your complete satisfaction, please contact us at [email protected] WITHIN 24 hours, so we can make it right by providing a discount, replacement or a refund.

With artisnal and seasonal food items, replacement may not always be available/possible.

Notifications after 24 hours food will be handled on an individual basis at the discretion of the management.

Beekeeper

Equipment & Supplies

Due to biosecurity and the delicate nature of the bees, we do not accept returns on bee equipment, tools and supplies once they have left our store and, in particular, if have been opened and/or used.

However, if you have received an item that is not to your complete satisfaction, please contact us at [email protected] WITHIN 3 DAYS, so we can make it right by providing a discount, replacement or a refund. It is important to do so as quickly as possible and BEFORE putting the item into use since no returns will be accepted once they are opened/used.

Notifications after 3 days will be handled on an individual basis at the discretion of the management.

Live Bees 

NUCs 

Please bring the proper tools/equipment for proper handling/transport of your NUCs, including ratchet straps.

Once you leave the property, the bees become your responsibilty. Bees overheat very quickly when NUCs have been closed, Please be sure you do NOT stop anywhere on the way home after pickup. It is not unusual few 100 bees to get injured on your way home along the bumps in the road. Please notify us within 24-48 hrs if you have a problem with your NUC.

Notifications after 24-48 hours will be handled on an individual basis at the discretion of the management.

Queen Cells

Please bring the proper tools/equipment for proper handling/transport of your queen cells. 

Once you leave the property, the cells become your responsibilty. Queen cells are VERY delicate and do not respond well to temp changes or being jostled and bumped.  Please be sure you do NOT stop anywhere on the way home after pickup and get them into your hives prior to emergence for best acceptance.

There are no refunds/replacements on queen cells. Purchase at your own risk.

Shipped Items

Your shipment was insured.

If there appears to be damage from shipping, please advise the carrier at time of delivery and file a claim with them immediately.

ADDITIONALLY, Please send us a photo of the damaged shipping box as well as the damaged item/s within 24-48 hours to [email protected] , so we can work with you to replace the item as best we can.

Non-Food Items

For NON-FOOD items (not included above), please contact us at [email protected]  within 3 days of receiving the item, so we can provide a discount, return authorization, replacement, or a refund.
